I think the new version of Garmin Express does not recognize any of my SD cards - all previous versions of Garmin Express did work well. Next step a complete reset of my BMW Motorrad Navigator V ? Bringing it back to the BMW dealer ? If my Macs can “see" - mount on the finder and read/write to the microSD card while they are inserted in my sat Nav (BMW Motorrad Navigator V) then Garmin Express should be able to find it and write to it, right? I would look into contacting the software developers of Garmin Express to see what they have changed in how Garmin Express handles the microSD cards. The only thing that does work is reinstalling the Western Europe Map subset or any other subset of Full Coverage of Europe 2017.20 map on the internal memory but I cannot install the full Europe Map because it requires more space and it cannot find the MicroSD card where it could spread itself over. I even suspected my mac formatting the cards in a improper way and reformatted the microSD card using one of my GoPro - no result there too. I tried another Mac with the new version of Garmin Express - I removed the Garmin Lock code - none of this worked …. I reinstalled Garmin Express on my primary macbook pro. I reformatted the 32Gb MicroSD card and tried another MicroSD (16Gb) card - both formatted FAT32. We navigated 6'000 Km this summer in 30 days by following a single multi-day 7 Mb GPX file (furkot export, route, track and all) We had the full Europe map loaded on the device and the (now "unfindable") 32Gb SDcard. The device works well (besides the sometimes completely loosing the GPS signal for no reason when restarting the bike after a short stop - having to remove the device from the cradle to restart it). Hi Coverage of Europe 2017.20 does not fit on the internal memory of the BMW Motorrad Navigator V.
